Spring cut?

This post has nothing to do with teaching… It actually has to do with my dog and decorating…

You’ll forgive me, right?

I have now been the proud owner of a Yorkie for about 4.5 months now. His name is Koda and he is *almost* house trained…..

This picture was taken the first night I got Koda. He was scared, timid, and really mellow….

Koda came to me a cute ball of black fur. Super small. super cute. My friend who convinced me to get him said, “he won’t get that big!! he will stay small forever!” (A huge selling point!!)

Well, the poor baby had to go to the groomers yesterday and I think she misinterpreted “he needs a trim.” Instead, she shaved off ALL OF HIS HAIR!
The poor thing was in shock when I picked him up and now I have a buzz cut dog.
:(
I’m hoping it will grow back soon and I guess the plus is now he won’t get so many stickers when we go on our hikes and I don’t have to worry about a hair cut for a REALLY long time…. I do miss his black hair though…
While Koda was at the groomers I found some really great deals for your kitchens!! I am simply put in LOVE with World Market. I found these really cute place mats and mugs there!
These mugs and plates were only $6.00. I could not pass them up!! I fell in love!
And I bought a new shower curtain for my guest bathroom upstairs!! I’m going to paint the walls either that red color or the blue. I have not quite decided yet. I’ll keep you up to date.
I’ve also been redoing my office and it currently is looking like this. I am so happy with the way it is coming out. The walls are a Behr color of paint and the painting came from World Market. The lamp was a mix and match ensemble from Target.
We have been on Spring break this week which is why I was able to get so much accomplished! I hope that you are enjoying your week and if you are on break that you are relaxing and taking some time for you!

Oh and that mellow, shy dog is a thing of the past. Now he is a ball of energy.

  2. Your decor is SO cute!!! I love it all!

  3. Koda! Don’t worry! You are still as cute as ever! That buzz cut happened to my yorkies once and it taught me to be very specific when the groomer comes! But, it is easier to take care of. Hugs and kisses to Koda!
