I can’t believe that it is April already. Where has this year gone?!
Well, this morning, I am casually enjoying my cup of coffee and working on my new farm pack. We start studying farm life next week so I have to get my butt in gear to finish it! I am trying to muster up “farmish feelings” by listening to the Dixie Chicks…
I’ll let you know if it works.
I even changed my desktop to this picture to inspire some creativity!
(Isn’t it beautiful?!)
So yes, I am LOVING having today off. I am NOT loving that I have to do some laundry soon!!!
As for the wanting and needing, I just redid my home office and am finding that I need some organizational tools in here. I am really inspired by these pins:

If you click on them it will take you to my “office” pin board. I am hoping to arrange something above my desk to keep me organized…
I MUST go to the grocery store today. I am attempting to “clean up” my eating for the next month. I’ve felt rather sluggish lately and I am sure it’s because I have let my eating habits slip. So back I go to upping my produce and decreasing sugar and breads. Now mind you I did not say cutting out!! I love my “Sweet treats” pin board nearly as much as my teaching boards. Seriously, you have to check this board out. I think I go to bed dreaming about these goodies.
I may or may not be buying ingredients for this at the grocery store, too… You know, along with my kale and carrots. šŸ˜‰
Now,  for some advice. I have been creating for just under a year and I have learned SO MUCH in 8 months. I think the main thing I have learned is that I have to create things that I NEED. If I do that then I am very happy because I was going to make it anyways and I love that I can share the products with you! Don’t get discouraged and if you ever need some advice or need help, don’t be scared to ask. I have met some amazing people in bloggy land who I am so lucky to be able to call my GOOD friends now.
Keep it up, be yourself, create for you, and ask for help when you need it! We all started off somewhere!
I hope you have a great day!!

  5. Hi Kristen~ i found you through Farley’s Currently. I totally agree with you about making products that you NEED! I have been blogging for about 7 months, and my TpT store is younger than that. I used to fret about not having a lot, but I decided to create for what I needed. I learned that chances were someone else needed that too!
Austin is a beautiful city. I had a chance to visit there a few years ago. We loved walking around UT.
    Enjoy your day off!
